Organization Membership


The Sunnyvale Photography Club is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to provide amateur and professional photographers with educational and social opportunities that increase the enjoyment of photography. The Club was founded over 30 years ago and has held its twice-monthly meetings since the days of film.

Club members pay a small fee, which covers our expenses and entitles the member to submit photos to our competitions.

We also announce our events in our Meetup group (Meetup.com/Sunnyvale-Photo-Club

Guests (such as Meetup Group members) are always welcome to attend club meetings (including viewing competitions and other special programs).


Visitors and potential members interested in joining the Sunnyvale Photo Club are encouraged and welcome to attend our meetings; if you find the activities valuable and intend to come to more than 2 or 3 meetings, please join.

To participate in contests and some member programs, you must join the Club. Club dues are $40 a year per person. Dues are payable in January and cover the entire calendar year.  Dues are prorated for people joining during the year on a quarterly basis: $40 Jan-Mar (or renewing) , $30 Apr-Jun, $20 Jul-Sep, $10 Oct-Dec. Please make checks payable to the "Sunnyvale Photographic Club."

Dues cover the club's costs of operations, such as our rental space, website, and judges fees.  

To join:

  1. Create an account here: (1) Click Login (upper right). (2) Scroll down to New User Registration, click Membership Information, click Create A New User Account And Request Membership and follow the instructions . Note: In the Personal Information section, make sure that Notify administrators that you wish to join the organization... is selected.  
  2.  Bring your check to our next meeting. (Sorry, can't pay online.)

 (If you prefer paper, download, print, and complete the membership form from our Documents and Files to Download page and bring the completed form to our next meeting with your check.)


To renew:

  1. Everyone renews on January 1. 
  2. If you have changed your address, phone, or email in the last year, please update your profile.
  3. Bring your check to a meeting in December or January.  (Sorry, can't pay online.)
